Tradition & Nature Experience for Over 70 Years

The Berliner Camping-Club e. V. brings together more than seven decades of experience and passion for nature-oriented camping. From April to September, we welcome you to our idyllic campsite at Bürgerablage in northern Berlin-Spandau. Nestled directly on the Oberhavel, surrounded by the Spandauer Forest and an expansive nature reserve, you can enjoy a truly unique location in the heart of greenery with us.

A Wide Range of Leisure Activities for Young and Old

Our surroundings offer countless opportunities to get active or simply unwind. Look forward to refreshing swimming fun at the nearby beach, extended hikes through the forest, or relaxing bike rides along the Havel River on the Berlin-Copenhagen cycle route. While the children let off steam on our playground, you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the natural surroundings. The Bürgerablage bathing beach is just a short walk away.

Nature Camping Beneath Old Trees

Our campground is idyllically nestled beneath majestic, old trees and offers a truly special nature experience. Most of the pitches for caravans and tents are located in pleasantly shaded areas – perfect for enjoying the fresh forest air on warm days. Large open meadows are only found occasionally, as we place great value on preserving the natural surroundings.

Personal Atmosphere & Neat Amenities

Many of our pitches are used by long-standing club members, which contributes to a warm, family-like, and relaxed atmosphere. The facilities on our site are intentionally simple, but always clean and functional. For our tent campers, a cozy kitchen pavilion is available: here you’ll find cooking facilities, dishes, and refrigerators – everything you need for comfortable self-catering, available for a small usage fee.

Enjoyment & Leisure at Your Doorstep

Just about 300 meters away, the restaurant “Jagdhaus an der Bürgerablage” awaits – the perfect spot for a culinary break. Right next to it, a large bathing beach invites you to sunbathe and swim. For your daily needs, you’ll find a supermarket and a bakery within a 15-minute walk. Additional shopping options are available in the neighboring district of Hakenfelde.

Excellent Access to Berlin

The bus stop “Papenberger Weg” (lines X36 and 136) is about a 10-minute walk away. From there, you can reach Berlin-Spandau in just 15 minutes, where you have access to the entire Berlin public transport network – getting you quickly and comfortably right into the heart of the capital.

We look forward to welcoming you!

The Bürgerablage campsite is located in the north of Spandau, at Niederneuendorfer Allee 63 in 13587 Berlin. If you are coming from the west, take exit number 26, Berlin-Spandau, from the A10 (Berliner Ring). The road here is called Hamburger Chaussee or B5, which later becomes Heerstraße.

At the intersection of Heerstraße and Gatower Straße, turn left. The road changes its name several times until you reach a roundabout called Falkenseer Platz. Take the second exit onto Neuendorfer Straße, which then becomes Streitstraße and later Niederneuendorfer Allee.

After the turnoff for Papenberger Weg, an unpaved road leads off to the right from Niederneuendorfer Allee into the forest. Please look out for a sign marked “Camping” at this point.

The entire team warmly welcomes all camping enthusiasts and visitors to our beautiful nature campsite. The campsite is located within the “Spandauer Forst” landscape conservation area. As a result, we are subject to strict regulations imposed by the Landscape and Nature Conservation Office. You will find these at the end of the campsite rules, with particular attention to Sections 6 & 7. By following the guidelines below, you can help preserve these advantages. In the interest of all users of our campsite, we kindly ask you to behave in a way that does not disturb the community of camping friends. The Board

    Campsite Rules (german)

    1. Every user/guest of the campsite must report to the site manager before setting up their tent or caravan.

    2. Check-in for guests is from 8:00 a.m. at the campsite. Check-out from the campsite and the premises is by 11:00 a.m. An extension until 8:00 p.m. is possible for a fee. Upon arrival, the full amount for the stay is due. Payments are to be made at reception in cash or by debit/credit card.

    3. Access for vehicles is only permitted from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Parking of all vehicles is not allowed anywhere on the premises for reasons of nature conservation.

    4. A maximum speed of 5 km/h (walking pace!) is permitted for all types of vehicles. Pedestrians have right of way. Special attention must be paid to children.

    5. The quiet hours at the campsite are from Sunday to Thursday from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. and from Friday to Saturday from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. The daily midday quiet time is from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and must be observed.

    6. A claim to a specific pitch exists only if it was occupied by the respective camper for the entire previous season. Campers who have received written approval from the site committee for a relocation must hand over their old pitch to the site manager at the beginning of the season, clean and raked. Private household and liability insurance must be in place. A valid gas inspection is mandatory.

    7. Compliance with order and cleanliness is, of course, the duty of all users of the campsite. The sanitary facilities must be left in a clean condition. Parents of small children must accompany them when using the sanitary facilities. Garbage and waste must be properly disposed of exclusively at the waste station at the entrance. It is also forbidden to deposit bulky waste there.

    8. Water and energy must be used sparingly, as we only have a wastewater collection pit and are not connected to the public sewer system.
Showers may only be used while wearing bath shoes or flip-flops. Washing clothes in the sanitary building or at the washbasins is not permitted.

    9. Open fires of any kind are legally prohibited due to the risk of fire. Grilling is only permitted with an appropriate gas or charcoal grill. When forest fire warning level 3 is reached, grilling with a charcoal grill is prohibited.

    10. The lease agreement concluded with the property owner includes, among other things, the following provisions:

    It is not permitted to,
    a) Fell, remove, or damage trees
    b) Attach cables, wires, cords, or signs to trees, or drive nails into trees
    c) Operate open fires for cooking, use self-made cooking devices, or disposable grills
    d) Bury feces or waste on the site or adjacent grounds. Toilets must be used for sanitary needs
    e) Conduct commercial activities on the campsite
    f) Set up tents or awnings made of materials other than tent fabric
    g) Construct permanent foundations or other structures. Only individual support plates for the wheels, drawbar, or jockey wheels of caravans are permitted
    h) Create flower beds, plant vegetation, erect reed mats, etc.

    11. Dog owners must register their pets at reception. Dog owners are required to keep their dogs on a leash. Pet waste must be disposed of by the owners. Fighting dogs are not allowed.

    12. Please contact reception to have the electricity connected or disconnected. The installation will be carried out by a qualified staff member. Defective electrical systems will be disconnected from the campsite power network.

    13. The BCC accepts no liability for damages that occur while using the campsite. If you find any lost items, please bring them to the reception. We do not assume responsibility for the possible disappearance of items.

    14. The site manager exercises the house rules on the entire campsite on behalf of the board. His instructions must always be followed.

    15. Serious violations of these campsite rules will result in immediate expulsion from the site. Anyone who commits an act punishable by law on the premises or in connection with a BCC event will also be expelled from the site. This applies even if the act is not prosecuted under criminal law. Expulsion from the site also applies to anyone who acts contrary to the interests of the BCC or is guilty of particularly unsociable behavior. After being expelled, the person concerned must vacate their pitch immediately and properly; otherwise, clearance and storage will be carried out at their expense by representatives of the BCC.

    16. Negotiations with the forestry office, landlord, and authorities concerning the BCC are to be conducted exclusively by the elected board of the BCC.

    17. Each pitch unit (permanent camper) is required to complete four work hours during the season. The work hours must be registered by July 1 at the latest. For work hours not completed, the hourly rate set by the board (35 euros per hour not completed) must be paid. For retirees and severely disabled persons, participation is voluntary.
